The Geni Finder is a guest/server call system for QSRs & food courts that promises to speed delivery an eliminate waiting lines.
Mumbai-based tech start-up, TechBrewery that is set to launch the Geni Finder, a guest/server call system at the end of February 2015.
It is one-touch button system that’s used extensively by the QSR, food court and dining sectors in Europe and South East Asia. Geni Finder is positioned for those F&B operations that would like to de-clutter their pick-up station, allowing the guest to move about, till their food’s ready.
“Geni Finder is an ideal system that brings new efficiency into food service while also improving guest experience,” said Sumeet Turakhiya, partner, TechBrewery.
Geni Finder works on the radio frequency platform so there is no downtime and no operational bottlenecks.
How it works
- Smart card table tag (an NFC card) which is affixed on every table denoting the number allocated to it.
- The guest tag is issued to the customer as his/her order is placed, the customer places the guest tag on his table, on top of the table tag.
With the help of the Gateway (radio modem) and the software, the attendant knows in his system which table the food is to be served on for that particular customer. The floor map of the food court/restaurant/cafe will indicate the exact table number where the customer is sitting.
