Job Description
The person will be responsible for/involved in the following roles:
- New membership acquisition
- Sponsorships for NRAI events and advertising for the printed newsletter
- Conceptualizing and developing brand communications
- Organizing training seminars and networking events for members in NCR and supporting events held in other cities.
- Creating/editing content for the printed newsletter, messages and quotes on behalf of the president, office bearers and Secretary General.
- Creating press releases, maintaining media relations, managing media interviews through questionnaires, telephonic conversation, etc.
- Creating & monitoring strategy for Social Media
- Handling engagement with the PR & Social Media agency
- Coordination for cross-promotional activities
- Coordination with the NRAI office for updating member’s list and other details on the www.nrai.org.
- Monitoring latest news / updates on the website and coordinating where necessary.
- Ensuring collaboration between the NRAI office, PR- Social Media agency and website publisher for deriving maximum efficiency.
Necessary skills
- A pleasant personality with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to multi-task
- Ability to take initiatives and manage projects independently
- Good technical knowledge of Social Media platforms (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.)
- Knowledge of graphic softwares
- Basic knowledge on email marketing
- Power-point proficiency
- Should be willing to travel within the NCR, as well as other locations when required
- Experience from restaurant / hospitality sector will be an advantage
The NRAI’s Profile
The NRAI is the leading association of the Indian Restaurant Industry. Headquartered at Delhi, it represents both independent and chain restaurant owners and operators in India.
The association in its 33rd year has a pan India presence with over 1200 members in 20 cities comprising of restaurants, suppliers and educational institutes.
NRAI aims to advocate changes in the laws governing the Indian Restaurant Industry by working closely with a network of State and City chapter partners across India.

- We are looking to fill this position by the 1st week of November, 2015.
- This position reports to the Secretary General through the Marketing & Communications Manager.
