A recent online petition regarding misbehaviour of a delivery team, has brought to notice a gap in our industry around potential misbehaviour by delivery boys with female customers.

While Zomato is working with its logistics partners, Grab and Delhivery, to get all delivery boys police verified, we would like to urge our members to ensure that our delivery partner vendors use manpower which is police verified.

If you are using your own delivery team, please ensure that they are verified by the police.

Getting police verification is a small effort which greatly absolves our establishments and reduces potential hassles owing to misbehaviour of delivery boys – which can potentially tarnish our reputation.
