NEW DELHI: Mind Curries Hospitality, promoted by cricketer Ashish Nehra’s brother Bhanu Nehra, is eying revenue of Rs 100 crore, and will invest Rs 70 crore by 2020 to open restaurants under four different formats.
“We are looking at a turnover of Rs 100 crore by 2020 and we will invest Rs 70 crore to open restaurants under our different formats,” Mind Curries founder Bhanu Nehra told PTI.
Mind Curries’ four different restaurant formats include Janpath Grill House, Micro Mini Breweries, Office Office and Cartoon Series.
The company is planning to open three restaurants under Janpath Grill House by end of 2017, four under working space cum pub format Office Office by end 2018, 20 under Micro Mini Breweries by 2020 and 2 under Cartoon Series.
“For cartoon series we have already registered Yabadabadoo and Scooby bar,” Nehra said.
The company, which operates one Janpath Grill House restaurant, is also in talks with high networth individuals (HNIs) to raise money for expansion.
“We have raised Rs 20 crore from a friend. Currently, we are in talks with HNIs to raise more money,” he added.
When asked if his brother has invested in the venture, he said: “No. At present Ashish is playing cricket and he wants to concentrate on it but he is very supportive.”
Prior to working on these four different formats, Nehra operates a restaurant in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas area under the brand Mia Bella.
