Malaysia’s chicken-based restaurant chain Kenny Rogers Roasters will open its first outlet in India later this month and is aiming to take the overall count to up to 50 in the next five years, while it has set a revenue target of Rs 200 crore by 2021.
It will open its first restaurant in the Gardens Galleria Mall, Noida on October 21.

On expansion, Chawla said: “We are looking at opening 8-10 restaurants by the end of calender year 2017 in north India. After that, we will expand to other parts of the country.”
The brand’s stores in India will be a combination of company-owned and franchised based.
Known for its chicken offerings, Kenny Rogers Roasters will also serve vegetarian food in India, he added.
