Hyderabad: After entering the record books for serving what it is known for, its delectable Hyderabadi biryani, the Paradise Food Court is now looking to spread its wings in North and Western India.
The popular eatery, according to Paradise Food Court Private Limited chief executive officer Gautam Gupta, had entered the Limca Book of Records for selling over 70 lakh biryani servings in a calendar year. Limca Book has recorded that Paradise Food Court has sold 70,44,289 biryani servings between January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017, he said, adding that the achievement was recorded in the 2019 edition of the Limca Book of Records.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Gupta said Paradise had already made its presence felt in South India and was now focusing on expanding its business in North and Western India.
At present, the company operates 32 branches across India. Of these, 17 branches are being operated in Hyderabad.
“The idea is to set up more branches in different cities, including Pune, New Delhi etc,” Gupta said.
For over 66 years, Paradise has been an integral part of Hyderabad in multiple formats that include cafes, bakeries and restaurants, with its biryani being the most popular offering.
