First fine dine restaurant is planned for Jaipur, this time focused on the ‘modern veg’ format.
Sattviko, Delhi’s health-oriented QSR, intends to enter the fine-dining format by launching restaurants focused on modern vegetarian food, beginning with an outlet in Jaipur. It has hired the services celebrity chef Bhakti Arora from TV show Masterchef India as its corporate executive chef.
In a related development, Sattviko has also bought a Call-a-Meal, a Jaipur-based food delivery company, who’s team is expected to open and manage the upcoming Jaipur restaurant.
“This acquisition will help us strengthen our delivery service, which was always a secondary business for us, making it a key business vertical for the company,” said Prasoon Gupta, co-founder and director, Sattviko.
Singhal will join the core team of Sattviko to scale up its delivery service business that has been operational for over a year now. The acquisition also gives Sattviko access to Call A Meal’s customers. “They will now be targeted by the same team but with the Sattviko brand,” Gupta said.
