Attacked at closing time, UB City restaurant alerts police who quickly arrest the attackers at the mall exit.
Bengaluru police arrested five men for allegedly assaulting a bouncer at an unnamed lounge bar in the UB City mall on Sunday.
The accused, all residents of Bengaluru, assaulted bouncer Ashraf Pasha after he requested them to leave the restaurant, as it was closing time. All were in an inebriated condition and collectively attacked the bouncer.
Though they managed to escape at the time, the restaurant staff quickly alerted the police. All five were arrested as they were trying to escape from the mall. A case has been registered and the accused have been produced before the court.
