NEW DELHI: Wondering what’s all the hype about? It’s nothing but amazing Instagramable glittery coffee drink – your regular cappuccino but dashed with edible glitter.

All that glitters is not gold and we have been warned about that on numerous occasions. At least it’s not true in this case as it’s completely edible and who would have thought that it would come in the form of coffee. Yes, it’s true, a cafe in Mumbai has become a global sensation after it’s ‘Glitter Cappuccinos’ took Instagram by storm.

The Coffee by Di Bella is serving two versions of the glittery coffee — diamond and gold cappuccino, and it’s the most sparkly caffeine drink you’ll ever see. It’s just your regular cappuccino but dashed with edible glitter, because it’s quite cliche to have it without all the bling!

The Australian company is serving up the same drink with a spoonful of edible rainbow glitter to make their latte art unique. “The diamond glitter used is made from a combination of crystal sugar mixed with edible food coloring that’s heated together to create a signature shine,” writes, Jaykrut Shah, Barista Artist.

As far as taste is concerned, you have to try it out to give the verdict.

Another small coffee shop in the UK known as the Melbourne in Lichfield is also serving Glitter Lattes in the gold version.

Photos of coffees from both the cafes have taken Netizens by surprise. While many are excited and want to try these sparkly drinks soon, others are apprehensive, many are also worried if there are any harmful side effects.
