We, at Transways Group strated our joureny into distribution of alcoholic beverages back in 1996 with the Company named M/s. Transways Exim Pvt. Ltd. (TEPL), which is a Private Company limited by shares having CIN U11520WB1996PTC081784 registered under the Companies Act, 1956 having its registered office situated at 20A, British Indian Street, Kolkata – 700 069, West Bengal, India. The Company was dealing with trading and distribution of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) for which the products had been procured from liquor manufacturers operating in India e.g., M/s. Allied Blenders and Distillers Pvt. Ltd., M/s. Bacardi India Pvt. Ltd., M/s. Beam Global, M/s. Sula Wines to name a few. By June 2017, the company had entered into a franchisee agreement with M/s. Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. for opening PaPaYa, which commenced its operation in the month of FEB’2018 and it remains a favourite with all the guests. To explore more business opportunity around that time, the Company had interacted with FMCG giant i.e., M/s. ITC Ltd. for a business association and was appointed as Wholesaler for their complete range of products. Owing to its vast experience in the distribution trade and excellent performance in the first wholesale point, Transways was soon offered a second wholesale point by M/s. ITC Ltd. and now both the points are doing very well. For our first point of distribution, we have been awarded for BEST DEBUT by the M/s. ITC.
