From the Latin conjoin degustibus, meaning an ‘entity of taste,’ the company was founded to espouse the five basic ingredients of a tested winning recipe: innovation, great food, warm hospitality, attention to detail and customers who revel in these. deGustibus’ vast experience and proven track record in running India’s leading food service outlets has allowed it to crystallize the modern F&B consumer’s expectations. We understand food and wine, hospitality and service, we understand marketing and our market, and we know how to put it all together as one deliverable package for the discerning consumer. deGustibus is the parent company of restaurant brands Indigo, Indigo Delicatessen, Tote on the Turf comprising Neel, the Tote Bar and the Tote Banquets, Neel Indian Kitchen & Bar, D:OH! and a catering division called Moveable Feast. Opened in 1999, Indigo with its old world charm continues to grow in its reputation as a food-centric, uncompromising, fine-dining establishment. Located in Colaba, Indigo is a “back-to-basics” address that serves up eclectic European cuisine coupled with an expansive bar and banqueting facility. Indigo Delicatessen, which opened in June 2005, popularly known as Indigo Deli, is both a restaurant and a retail store selling artisanal F&B and hand-picked non F&B products. With a presence all over Mumbai, Indigo Deli is located in Colaba, Lower Parel, Bandra, Andheri, Ghatkopar, Powai and Inorbit Mall, Malad. Indigo Deli has also recently expanded it’s footprint outside its home city, to Pune and Cyber Hub, Gurgaon in 2016. In 2008, deGustibus Hospitality reached yet another culinary milestone with the launch of Moveable Feast, a full service, multi-cuisine catering outfit offering bespoke services. On the path of growth, deGustibus launched Tote on the Turf at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse comprising Neel, a Nawabi Cuisine restaurant that focuses on presenting a tasteful blend of flavours, textures and colours to create a sensational gustatory experience; the immensely popular Tote Bar; and the highly versatile Tote Banquets. In more recent times, with the changing culinary scene in India, in 2016 they have launched a more casual dining version of the Indian restaurant – Neel Indian Kitchen + Bar in the suburbs of Powai. Continuing in their tradition as pioneers in the food scene, their most recent achievement has been the creation of a new restaurant category with the launch of a limited service restaurant brand called D:OH! (All Day Dining). Within a short span of 3 months – 2 outlets of this brand have been launched at Kamala Mills, Lower Parel and Fun Republic, Andheri in Mumbai. deGustibus Hospitality is now poised to continue its growth & expansion streak, with the vision to sustainably remain at the top of the hospitality industry.
