When the going gets tough, the tough get going’ – the phrase stands true to define the struggle and success of Inderjeet Singh Banga, the director of Biggie Restaurants Private Limited. With eagle eyes approach, he is clear about his concepts, restaurant interiors and ambience and cuisines he wants to offer.

The food industry came as a natural calling for Inderjeet. Fascinated by food, as he has always been, he feels people express their culture through their food and dining etiquettes. In 2009, he cemented his passion by launching his restaurant, Pirates of the Grill, a bright restaurant that goes against the clichéd fine dining family restaurant concept and brings in an element of meaningful surprise in the dining experience. Battling with the major challenge of making others believe in his ventures, Inderjeet was finally able to bring fine dine experience based on good food at good cost in the form of Pirates of the Grill. The eleventh ‘Best Buffet Restaurant’ chain will soon be launched in Vasant Kunj, Delhi.

Influenced and fuelled by the idea of having fun, Inderjeet’s ‘Prankster’ is a 10,000 sq.ft. college-themed restaurant that take one back to their old college days. Prankster is designed to give a wholesome experience of a college – a restaurant, brewery and a bar. A cutting-edge restaurant with quirk at its best, is has food that reconnects one to their college days yet modern in its presentation; an amphitheatre; a parking lot, among other interesting features. Winner of Best Modern Indian Cusine, Best Resto Bar and Best Theme Pub/Bar in Times of India Nightlife and Food Awards.

Second outlet of prankster will be launching soon this year in Chandigarh.

Post Prankster, Inderjeet Singh Banga launched another successful venture called Pra Pra Prank. Winner for best concept bar of the year in 2018-19 at many platforms, Pra Pra Prank is is more than an epicurean sanctuary – it embodies our philosophy of striving for perfection, unabashedly for the Indian. Presenting the first Playful Brasserie in India, Spirited and offering anything but the usual! With the high end cocktail bar and café under one premises, Pra Pra Prank elevated the standards of international gastronomy in town.

With a conscious effort of expansion in the northern part of India due to numerous opportunities, Inderjeet eyes to reach the markets of Bengaluru, Mumbai and Dubai with the flagship brand Pirates of the Grill by 2020 and wants to open more Pranksters and Pra Pra Prank by next year. His ultimate dream list consists of opening Michelin star restaurants in India, which are at par with the global culinary market.
