A hardworking restaurateur in the Indian Food and Beverage Industry, the man behind three independent brands, the ethnic and authentic North Indian diner Desi Vibes, Noida’s best Italian cafe Ka Eclairs & Cafe and the CP’s famous Indian fine diner “The Imperial Spice” is indeed a worthy and an influential Indian restaurateur. “Becoming a restaurateur and changing the culinary game in my city had always been my dream”, adds Varun Khera. His journey began years ago with the Taj group of Hotels later switching to working for the Jet Airways as a Cabin Crew for 4 years. After gaining experience in the hospitality industry, Varun Khera eventually decided to take a leap of faith to start Desi Vibes in the capital.

An Indian cuisine fan who swears it by his heart shares how the idea of Desi Vibes plunged into his head, “My favourite cuisine was Indian and Biryani and Dal Makhni were my favourite dishes.” Wanting to open an Indian restaurant that served food that melts in the mouth, taste that touches hearts, ambience that soothes the senses and service that makes one feel royal, Varun opened Desi Vibes – an authentic Mughlai and North Indian cuisine restaurant with vibes of the Desi culture, recreated and glamorized for true ethnic dining. Giving Noida its best Italian cafe, Varun Khera also gave to the diners a cafe called Kaffiaa which was later rebranded as Ka Eclairs and Kafe.

The Imperial Spice is Varun Khera’s third independently owned brand that serves North Indian and Continental cuisine amidst a luxe ambience and vibe. A place that soaks all senses in a supernova of redefined cultural experiences, The Imperial spice is an insightful symmetry of the Modern and the Indian, offering a perfected cocktail of the fresh and the tropical, delivering a worthy affair in the heart of the city full of indulgence.
