An established baron in the Indian Food and Beverage Industry, Sharad Batra is the co-founder and Director of Cafe Delhi Heights and Nueva, two trendsetting diners in their respective segments. After acquiring a degree in Architecture, Sharad started working on his own projects and was among the first people to look into a better design lead customer experience. In 2011, Sharad along with brother, Vikrant Batra, opened doors of the extremely popular chain of restaurants dotted across Delhi NCR and now Mumbai, Café Delhi Heights. Six years later, they have ventured into the fine dining space with Nueva. But what he does the best is to identify the customer need and find the right location and eventually build an experience to fulfill the need. That’s called a smart entrepreneur.
