Samir (SAM) Chopra a Chartered Accountant by qualification and with a career spanning more than 30 years of diverse experience has numerous successful entrepreneurial assignments under his belt. Sam is the Chairman of CybizCorp which specializes in consulting, incubation, franchising, and licensing and channel distribution in various verticals including Real Estate and Food and Beverage.

Sam traces his F&B roots on his maternal side to his grandfather GK Ghai who was amongst the co-founders of Kwality restaurants and ice creams and on his paternal side to his father PK Chopra who brought the world’s largest hospitality consulting firm Horwath International to North & East India and Nepal.

As CybizCorp  entered the Food and Beverage Domain, amongst others, Sam acquired the Master Franchise rights for North & West India for the California based burger chain Carl’s Jr. under CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. that has a total of 3,800+ franchised and company-operated restaurants in 42 states and 33 foreign countries and US territories. Sam’s daughters, Sana & Samira Chopra as Executive Directors of Carl’s Jr. India help operate and control this brand in India along with other professional owner managers with the ultimate goal of making it India’s favorite fast casual partial service restaurant chain. Sam has successfully been able to transfer his entrepreneurial skills to his both the daughters and helps them in becoming the best in the trade at such a young age.

Amongst other awards, CybizCorp has received the “Restaurant Consultant of the Year” at Indian Restaurant Congress, 2014; Best National Global Brand of the Year 2015; Concept of The Year 2015 and The Most Promising Global Franchise Opportunity 2016 for making significant contributions in the Food and Beverage Sector.

Cybiz Corp has recently on-boarded Little Caesars, the third largest pizza chain in the world.

A commerce graduate from the premier Sri Ram College of Commerce of Delhi University, Sam shares a passion for Books, Sports & Travel. His time management skills have always ensured that he pursues his other passion which is spending time with his family.
