Praful Chandawarkar is an Indian Entrepreneur with a wide interest spanning hospitality, horticulture, art, and sports.

He has educational qualifications in Hospitality Management and Business Management. In his career spanning 25 years he has worked in fields as varied as investment banking and hospitality.

For the last 24 years he has owned and operated the brand that is Malaka Spice. He has conceptualized and operated successful concepts in hospitality. Today, under Praful’s guidance and vision, the group has expanded into restaurants, home delivery businesses with 3 cloud kitchens, a full fledged gurukul called Chiranjeev Gurukul, and a beautiful farm called Cherish Farm which is the agricultural project of the group. Cherish Farm is where organic fruits and vegetables are grown to be used in Malaka Spice restaurants in the city; it has also gained a great reputation for being a destination to get away from the city hustle. Not just this, the group has also launched 4 cloud kitchen brands in their home delivery business namely One China (Hong Kong and Sichuan Street Style Cuisine), Tvum (Indian Cuisine), Drum Roll (for quick bites, Asian wraps and rolls) and Top Hat (also known as Pie Tee, this is our take on the classic snack from Malacca City). Along with this, the group has launched a retail initiative called The Malaka Market that sells an array of organic products and grocery. 

Praful is also the co- founder of Live Life Love Life Charity Foundation. From last 5 years LLLLCF is actively working towards organizing camps and raising funds towards cancer detection and treatment along with the help of Care India Medical Society. The charity has managed to raise more than Rs. 2 Crores in funds from inception to present date. 

Because of his keen interest in sports, Praful is also involved in grass root development of sports infrastructure and professionals.

In his free time, Praful likes to travel, cook, garden and is also a keen angler.
