An initiative by Sri Kamal Nayan Mukherjee, a food enthusiast along with one of his close friends flagged off his first venture in the name of Hatari Restaurant on 2nd of July 1966. Soon Hatari became a prominent adda zone for the people. Over the years Hatari has transformed into Multi Cuisine Restaurant with counters across the city serving Kolkatans and also stepped outside the city in Bhubaneswar to whom it is enduringly indebted for their patronage.
