Mahabelly is a speciality restaurant serving authentic Kerala cuisine. Inaugurated by Dr Shashi Tharoor, the restaurant opened its doors in March 2015 as an effort to bring traditional Malayali delicacies to the National Capital. The menu features a diverse spread of delicacies with influences from the Syrian Christian, Nair, Moplah & Coastal cuisines along with exotic dishes from the toddy shops of Kerala that people have come to love. Drawing its inspiration from King Mahabali of the Onam festival lore, Mahabelly is the ultimate stop for all the culinary treasures that the State of Kerala has to offer.
