Avantika Sinha

Avantika Sinha graduated from NIFT, New Delhi and went on to pursue a Masters in Luxury Brand Management from University of the Arts London where she graduated with a distinction. This is where she fell in love with the hospitality industry!

Founder and manager director of Tasteshop private limited, Avantika conceptualized her first restaurant- Kampai in 2018 which is a modern Japanese restaurant because of her love and fascination for Japan and the Japanese food and cultural scene. Her love for the beautiful flavors and ingredients from the land of the rising sun and recognition for a demand for the cuisine in her home country made her pursue the restaurant at a young age of 25!

Avantika conceptualized EBK Luxury Catering in keeping with the high demands of her clients to bring high quality Japanese food in a catering setup. Having done several high profile events, she started to expand into various new concepts and formats such as Singaporean, Korean, Modern Indian, Cantonese and so on. EBK Luxury Catering has been set up as a niche and high-end culinary curation brand led by her creative ideas!

Avantika then went onto to create one of India’s first Singaporean restaurants – Mai Bao in early 2021 She realized that the cuisine of Singapore is highly under represented in India in an approachable format. She conceptualized Mai Bao because she wanted to bring this cuisine in its original street food format to the Indian market! She also launched Cocodate- a first of its kind nutritious patisserie brand and is expected to launch her new FMCG brand Tacious later this year which will retail Asian sauces and dressings.

In her short time in this industry, Avantika has made her mark for creating unique brands with a focus on high quality food. She has big expansion plans pan India for her restaurants.
