A career restaurateur, Manpreet has with great success, owned & operated restaurants across Delhi for 35 years.

A native to Delhi, he was educated there at the St. Columbus School, New Delhi and Economics (Hons.) from Hindu College, Delhi University.

He did work initially in a hotel – the Taj Mahal Delhi – before making the permanent switch to restaurants in 1984 with the Phoolwari Restaurant & Banquets in Pragati Maidan. The famous Zen restaurant followed in 1992 along with partnerships in many restaurants across Delhi such as the York Hotel & Restaurant, Fujiya Restaurant, Chungwa Restaurant & Ginza Restaurant.
