Overhaul for the Catering Industry – FAIC’s Exhibition & Convention 2016
With current market trends changing constantly and drastically each day,every market needs to now strategize and structure their processes respectively. The catering industry is one such industry that has tremendous scope and is usually not affected by any slowdown. Especially in India considering the rich culture we have of festivals, ceremonies, social events and now even corporates gathering. The Indian Catering Industrywith the potential it has is now working towards reforming the way it operates and exploring the vast opportunities that are available all over the country.
The Federation of All India Caterers (FAIC) is the first such initiative taken by the All Gujarat Caterers Association and Bombay Caterers Association with now 14 more states as part of their amalgamation. Under the guidance and benefitting visionof FAIC several initiatives have been taken in order to make the Indian Catering Industry at par with the international norms.
FAIC’s Exhibition & Convention 2016 is a stepping stone towards their goal and is an entity that will change the entire perspective and methods of the catering Industry. The Exhibition & Convention will have an array of designer tableware, innovative food concepts, upscale décor, international products, upgraded equipment, novel food displays, advance technologies and much more from all over the country. Making it a one stop shop to know about newer trends, network and explore new business opportunities. The event will cover everything and anything that a caterer desires or needs to upscale their awareness in order to be at par with the international norms through Informative and EducativeWorkshops conducted by thorough professionals and the pioneers of the industry. This event will also be a communal not only for the caterers but also for hoteliers, banquet owners, bakers and various F & B professionals to meet numerous vendors, suppliers, decorators and manufacturers.
Shri Narendra Somani, President, FAIC, shares that, “Today FAIC has become a strong national networking platform in which more than 5000 caterers across the country have become members and we want to showcase the strength of our federation and why it is essential for more and more caterers to become a part of it. The main objective of the event is to provide an international level platform to the manufacturers & traders from across India from the food and allied sub sectors to showcase their products & technologies in the best possible way and build their brand value and product value”.
