Wendy’s partner with Instago to serve people on the go

on

Wendy’s India has partnered with Instago, India’s upcoming intra-city travel app to give its customers an opportunity to experience Instago’s app and for Instago’s customers to experience Wendy’s burgers.

With this both the brands have come to reach out to people on the go who are looking out for quality experiences at an affordable pricepoint.

This is how it works:

A user downloads Instago and signs up on the app. Under the menu, there is a promotions tab with the Wendy’s icon. Clicking on it once allows the user to redeem a burger- Railway Cutlet (Veg) or Crispy Chicken (Non-Veg) for free. There is a unique code for each user. To make things exciting, if a user shares his/her promo code with three more people who also sign up on Instago, the original customer gets another burger. This unique code can be shared with friends, family and colleagues to unlock more burgers.

Wendy’s will began the week by opening its doors to all people who have redeemed their burger on the Instago app.

Commenting on the new association Arvind Dixit, Chief Operating Officer, Wendy’s India said, “We are happy to partner with Instago and make our offering accessible to more customers. We’re always keen to engage with potential customers across different platforms and when Instago approached us, we felt the partnership would be a perfect fit. We’re sure it’ll help get a new set of customers, to experience the brand & at the same time offer customer delight for the Instago user.”

The offer will run till 13th July 2016 across all Wendy’s outlets in Delhi-NCR.

At a time when a number of Quick Service Restaurants are attempting to corner their plate-share, Wendy’s tapped on an innovative marketing strategy to disrupt the mundane code and give its patrons another reason to cheer.

“We are excited to partner with Wendy’s and make our user’s experience more special. Discovering new ways to obtain quality and efficient transport services at affordable prices is what we at Instago aim to solve for customers,” added Nakul Khanna, Co-founder, Instago.
