Vatika’s street-food QSR ‘Nukkadwala’ to launch soon

First outlet on Sohna Road, Gurgaon, INR 30 crore investment in Phase 1 + INR 100 crore in Phase two.

Buoyed by the growth of the Indian QSR story, the Vatika Group is all set to launch ‘Nukkadwala’, its QSR brand of Indian street-food.

The first outlet is in the work on Sohna Road, Gurgaon, though a launch date has not been announced. Vatika is committing INR 30 crore as initial investment, though it hints of adding INR 100 crore in the second round, if things go well.

“With a vision to grow rapidly in the QSR business, the group has signed up another four locations in the NCR. In future, we plan to make our presence felt world over and it would be possible with our second round of investments which would be INR 100 crores,” said Gaurav Bhalla, MD, Vatika Group.

“Nukkadwala aims to enrich to the experience of each of its customers with unique encounter unanimous to all our locations. This experience encompasses the signature style with which we extend our hospitality to all our guests, including unrivalled cuisine” he added.

The group has a sizeable investment in Indian hospitality. It owns the Westin hotels in Gurgaon and Sohna, while a Westin each is planned for Jaipur and Puducherry. Its dining brands are 56 Ristorante Italiano and Coriander Leaf across India.
