The plan emphasizes on women employment and entrepreneurship along with a focus on youth skill development.

Coffee chain Di Bella Coffee has signed a three-way agreement to provide skill development for Manipur. Along with the Australian Retail College (ARC) and JCRE Skill Solutions, a Manipur-based skills provider & NSDC partner, Di Bella will now work together to deliver skill development training and jobs for rural youth.

It hopes to create a minimum of 150 jobs, laying special emphasis on women employment and creating greater women entrepreneurs. Di Bella will be the official recruiter for the project with support from the Australian Government for the brand’s pan-India expansion.

In related news, the coffee chain has announced plans for at least 50 outlets across Mumbai & Hyderabad by mid-2016.  It intends to open a minimum of two stores every quarter in virgin properties across the two cities, following an India-wide expansion in metros and Tier II cities. Upcoming stores will have a new signature ‘Di Bella’ store style in prime locations of Mumbai like Fort, Breach Candy, Shivaji Park, Vile Parle, Oshiwara and Goregaon.
