NEW DELHI: North Delhi Municipal Corporation has roped in a private agency to issue health trade and general trade licences to shop and restaurant owners at their doorstep.
Standing committee chairman Pravesh Wahi said that November onwards, no shops or restaurant owner will have to visit the zonal offices, easing the pressure on them. “A private agency has been roped in and they will deploy its staff and issue licence at the respective shops and restaurants itself,” said Wahi.
The health department issues health trade licences to food joints, restaurants, gyms, amusement parks, beauty parlours, hotels and clubs.
