MUMBAI: Copper Chimney, the well-known North Indian restaurant which has two outlets in Mumbai (at Kala Ghoda and Worli) and one in Thane, will commemorate its 45th anniversary with week-long celebrations between November 20 and 26, 2017.
The first 45 patrons each day can avail a 45 per cent discount on the bill, irrespective if they order off the a la carte menu, brunch, beverages or alcoholic beverages. While lunch will be served between noon and 4pm, dinner will be served between 7pm and midnight.
The starter plates and tandoor grills are must-tries. Patrons can choose from Paneer Tikka, Smoked White Pepper Chicken Chop, Grilled Burrah Chop and Chelo Kebab or contemporary additions like Tawa Imli Aloo, Tandoori Fire Chicken and Char-grilled Cheese Mushrooms.
These can be paired with Copper’s Achari Whiskey, Khatta Panna or the Copper Mist infused with fresh spices and fruity ingredients. For the mains, one can opt either for biryani or a range of curries and breads like the Chura Paratha and Punjabi Onion and Mirch Roti.
These may be accompanied by such gravies as Rogan Josh, Chicken Bharta and Paneer Masala. Those with a sweet tooth can end their meals with either Almond Phirni Chikki Crumble or the Muzaffar (a thick Lucknowi rabdi with golden, roasted vermicelli).
