Barbeque Nation is exploring a major expansion push with a strategy aimed at doubling its restaurants across India as well as in SAARC countries. The company plans to double its restaurants to 100 outlets, from its current 54 outlets.
“Apart from the tier-I cities, tier-II and tier-III cities are extremely important for the company. If you consider the market trends, all major brands across industries are wooing customers in the tier-II and tier-III cities, because these cities are growing rapidly. We have recently opened outlets in cities like Vijayawada, Mangalore and in Nashik and plan to open in Nagpur,” said Joju PO, COO, Barbeque Nation Hospitality.
Barbeque Nation’s restaurants are a combination of high-street, standalone and mall formats in the areas of 5,000-5,500 sq. ft. and it will be opening three new outlets in Mumbai – Kalyan, Mulund and Bandra.
