The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation sealed three restaurants in the new west zone yesterday.

According to AMC officials, Shiv Shakti Sky Dine and Rain Forest, both situated on SG Highway and the famous Kake Ka Dhaba at Sarkhej, were operating without building use (BU) permissions and fire safety licenses.

The officials said that as per the norms, a restaurant has to get a fire license and also should have BU permission to operate. Officials said that new west zone authorities have taken up a special drive against such restaurants.
