150 training programmes in skill development to be launched in Haryana soon

NEW DELHI: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday announced that 150 training programmes in skill development would be launched soon in the state.

The Chief Minister was speaking after felicitated 15 skilled youth selected under the World Skills Competition: India Skills West 2018’ at Haryana Bhawan here.

Mr Khattar congratulated all winners selected under the competition, wished them a bright future and said that all should be facilitated to develop their skills.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr T C Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana Skill Development and Industrial Training, Employment, said in the India skill West Competition, Haryana bagged maximum positions after Maharashtra for participation in the World Skill Competition to be held in Kazan, Russia.

The youth who secured first position in the “World Skills Competition: India Skills West 2018’ are: Manoj Kumar (electronics), Sonu Lathar (auto body repair), Ritesh Yadav (web designing and development), Roshan (carpentry), Vinod (plumbing), Prince Kumar (cooking) and Jagat Yadav (restaurant services).
